In Friday's non-league outing, the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), by a count of 40-15.
The Wildcats (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Kinston was crushed by South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 40-38, in a league outing.
