The John Paul II Catholic Saints basketball team (Greenville, NC), was nudged 35-34 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC)
The Centurions now possess a 4-4 record.
The Saints (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes come into the battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Cape Fear Academy was nudged by Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 50-39, in a league battle.
