The Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 55-42 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors go into the test with a 0-1 record.

The Rangers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30.
