The Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Northampton Blue Devils (Northampton, MA), 85-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Commerce (Springfield, MA). The Red Raiders go into the Valley test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Commerce was trounced by Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA), 68-60, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Holyoke for a non-league test on Monday, February 7.
