    The Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Northampton Blue Devils (Northampton, MA), 85-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Golden Eagles (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Holyoke (Holyoke, MA). The Purple Knights go into the Valley test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Holyoke walloped Agawam (Agawam, MA), 69-66, in a non-league test.

    The Blue Devils now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Longmeadow for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 23.
