In Friday's league outing, the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) basketball squad beat the host McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), by a margin of 62-51.

The Eagles (24-6) will now prepare for their outing against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 5 outing with a 19-10 record. In their last outing, Guyer defeated Braswell (Little Elm, TX), 64-35, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to Guyer for a 6A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, February 3.
