With the victory, Asheboro improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Blue Comets host Central Davidson (Lexington, NC) to play the Spartans in a 3A Conference 47 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Central Davidson lost 48-47 in their recent league challenge against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a 3A Conference 47 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Oak Grove will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 71-45 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
