The Texans now possess a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Northwest will confront a Pirates team coming off a 46-37 league win over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 15-10.

The Hornets (15-14) will now prepare for their battle against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Saginaw was nudged by Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 57-32, in a league battle.
