Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC), 66-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Veritas Christian Academy upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Warriors host Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 75-24 league win over Judah Christian Academy (Stanley, NC).
