Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC), 66-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Veritas Christian Academy upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Warriors host Haywood Christian Academy (Waynesville, NC) to play the Red Wolves in a Western Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Haywood Christian Academy won 61-39 in their recent league bout against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 69-66 league win over Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC).
