Virginia High School Basketball - Broad Run nudges Lightridge

January 27, 2023: Ashburn, VA 20147

In Friday's league outing, the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), by a margin of 51-48.

The Spartans (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Park View (Sterling, VA). The Patriots go into the Dulles outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Park View was tipped by Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 61-29, in a league outing.

The Bolts now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Tuscarora for a Dulles outing on Friday, February 3. Lightridge will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 44-40 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 14-2.
