The Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) basketball knocked off the host Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), 59-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride go into the Dulles test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Heritage went down by Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA), 78-46, in a non-league test.

The Bolts now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Loudoun County for a Dulles test on Thursday, December 15. Lightridge will encounter a Captains squad coming off a 59-54 league win over Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Captains record now stands at 3-2.
