The Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Cannon Falls Bombers to 54 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Island for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Goodhue will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.
The Bombers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Dover-Eyota was routed by Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN), 54-41, in a non-league contest.
