The Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Cannon Falls Bombers to 40 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Island for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Goodhue will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-47 non-league loss to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Cannon Falls moves to 1-2 on the year. The Bombers host Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 20. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 3-0.
