The Cox Falcons basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Ocean Lakes Dolphins to 26 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a Beach contest on Wednesday, February 1. Cox will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 68-63 league win over Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 7-10.

The Dolphins (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Hickory was routed by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 71-67, in a league contest.
