The Cross County Thunderbirds basketball team (Cherry Valley, AR), dropped 57-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR)
The Rebels now possess a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Poinsett County for a 2A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Riverside will confront a Warriors team coming off a 76-64 league loss to Bay (Bay, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 9-12.
The Thunderbirds (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR). The Greyhounds come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 12-12 record. In their last battle, Marmaduke dropped by Rector (Rector, AR), 68-61, in a league battle.
