Arkansas High School Basketball - Riverside topples Cross County

In Monday's league outing, the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), by a margin of 62-44.

The Rebels (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Warriors go into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, East Poinsett County was topped by Craigmont (Memphis, TN), 60-47, in a non-league outing.

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Marmaduke for a 2A Region 3 outing on Friday, December 16. Cross County will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 68-58 league loss to Rector (Rector, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-6.
