The Eagan Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Rosemount Irish to 54 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Eagan will battle a Cougars team coming off a 54-51 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-4.

The Irish (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Sabres enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Sartell-St. Stephen was defeated by St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN), 65-50, in a league contest.
