The Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) basketball felled the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 60-51 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Unity Christian (Rome, GA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record.

The Rebels now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they travel to Rockmart for a AA Region 7 test on Saturday, January 28. Fannin County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 63-51 league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-9.
