The Tharptown Wildcats basketball team (Russellville, AL), was nudged 60-53 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL)
The Hornets now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Hatton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Rogers (Florence, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
The Wildcats (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Shoals Christian (Florence, AL). The Flame come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record.
