The IDEA Weslaco Pike (Weslaco, TX) basketball crushed the host Monte Alto Blue Devil (Monte Alto, TX), 70-45 in Friday's league test.
The (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Red Ants go into the 3A Region IV District 32 test with a 23-9 record. In their last test, Progreso was trounced by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX), 66-56, in a league test.
The Blue Devil now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they host IDEA Sports Park for a 3A Region IV District 32 test on Monday, February 6.
