The Lakeland Hawks basketball team (Rathdrum, ID), was nudged 63-61 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Moscow Bears (Moscow, ID)
The Bears now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandpoint for a 5A/4A Inland Empire battle on Tuesday, January 31. Moscow will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-48 non-league loss to Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
The Hawks (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID). The Badgers come into the non-league battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Bonners Ferry edged Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID), 79-64, in a league battle.
