Moscow Bears (Moscow, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lakeland Hawks (Rathdrum, ID), 64-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Moscow upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Pullman (Pullman, WA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Pullman won 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Timberlake Tigers (Spirit Lake, ID) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 68-34 non-league loss to Sandpoint (Sandpoint, ID).
