Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way West upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 8-14. Oak Forest lost 59-57 in their recent league bout against Argo (Summit, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Lemont HS come into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 69-45 league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
