North Carolina High School Basketball - South View beaten by Lumberton

The Lumberton Pirates ran past the visiting South View Tigers basketball team by a final score of 65-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 22 game, on Tuesday, January 31. Lumberton will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 4-14 record after their 53-42 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC).

With the defeat, South View moves to 4-16 on the year. The Tigers travel to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to face the Rams in a 3A/4A Conference 22 game on Tuesday, January 31.
