The Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) basketball crushed the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), 62-28 in Friday's league test.

The Bearcats (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Clifton Central was trounced by Wilmington (Wilmington, IL), 54-47, in a non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Georgetown-Ridge Farm for a Vermilion Valley test on Tuesday, January 31. Schlarman will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 73-58 league loss to Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-16.
