Massachusetts High School Basketball - South Hadley can't hold off Monument Mountain

The Monument Mountain Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting South Hadley Tigers to 46 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoosac Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Monument Mountain will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 68-50 non-league loss to Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-4.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Eagles enter the Bi-County - East contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Easthampton/Hampshire nudged Baystate Academy (Springfield, MA), 66-57, in a league contest.
