California High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel thwarted by Sage Creek

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils basketball team (San Diego, CA), was toppled 73-65 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA)

The Bobcats now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poway for a Avocado battle on Wednesday, February 1. Sage Creek will confront a Titans team coming off a 53-51 league loss to Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Titans record now stands at 15-9.

The Sundevils (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA). The Mustangs come into the Avocado battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, San Dieguito Academy was toppled by Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 75-70, in a league battle.
