North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Halifax trounced by Wilson Prep

January 27, 2023: Littleton, NC 27850

The Wilson Prep Tigers routed the host Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team by a final score of 73-31 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 28. Wilson Prep will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 24-7 record after their 93-34 league win over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC).

With the defeat, Northwest Halifax moves to 9-11 on the year. The Vikings travel to Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 1A Conference 9 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 0-11. Rocky Mount Prep lost 86-37 in their recent league game against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC)
