The Oconomowoc Raccoons basketball team (Oconomowoc, WI), was nudged 61-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI)

The Wolverines now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukesha South for a Classic Eight battle on Tuesday, January 31. Waukesha West will battle a Blackshirts team coming off a 81-52 league loss to Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI). The Blackshirts record now stands at 8-7.

The Raccoons (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Arrowhead (Hartland, WI). The Warhawks come into the Classic Eight battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Arrowhead edged Waukesha North (Waukesha, WI), 82-40, in a league battle.
