Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI), 79-75 in a league bout.

With the win, Prout upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI) to play the PRIDE in a Division 3 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The PRIDE go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Blackstone Valley Prep won 58-48 in their recent league bout against Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI)

Next up, the play the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Paul Cuffee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 58-48 league loss to Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI).
