Texas High School Basketball - Prairie Valley ripped by Slidell

The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs to 36 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellevue for a 1A Region III District 22 contest on Thursday, February 2. Slidell will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-55 league loss to Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-16.
The Bulldogs (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Henrietta, TX). The Falcons enter the 1A Region III District 22 contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Midway triumphed over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX), 68-32, in a league contest.
