The Prairie Valley Bulldogs basketball team (Nocona, TX), was overwhelmed 66-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX)

The Greyhounds now possess a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue for a 1A Region III District 22 battle on Friday, January 6. Slidell will confront a Eagles team coming off a 69-16 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-11.

The Bulldogs (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Midway (Henrietta, TX). The Falcons come into the 1A Region III District 22 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Midway trounced Forestburg (Forestburg, TX), 77-34, in a league battle.
