North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph fells Randleman

January 27, 2023: Randleman, NC 27317

Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC), 63-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwestern Randolph upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Cougars host Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A/2A Conference 31 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 19-1. Eastern Randolph won 97-52 in their recent league bout against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 31 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Randleman will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 64-55 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC).
