North Carolina High School Basketball - Randleman nudges Southwestern Randolph

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) basketball squad nipped the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), by a margin of 58-52.
The Tigers (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, North Davidson was tipped by Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 55-43, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Randolph for a 1A/2A Conference 31 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Southwestern Randolph will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-68 non-league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.
