Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), 59-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Santiam Christian upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Scio (Scio, OR) to play the Loggers in a 3A PacWest bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Loggers come into the bout with a record of 4-13. Scio lost 45-29 in their recent league bout against Amity (Amity, OR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) in a 1A Big Sky bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 13-12 record after their 67-26 league loss to South Wasco County (Maupin, OR).
