Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Santiam Christian upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Scio (Scio, OR) to play the Loggers in a 3A PacWest bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Loggers come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Scio lost 67-18 in their recent league bout against Amity (Amity, OR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) in a 1A Big Sky bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
