St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Agnes Aggies (St. Paul, MN), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Croix Prep upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Lions travel to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a AA Section 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 7-6. St. Croix Lutheran won 62-54 in their recent non-league bout against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)

Next up, the Aggies play the Holy Trinity Trojans (Winsted, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Agnes will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
