The Alice Coyotes basketball team (Alice, TX), was nudged 68-63 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX)
The Wildcats now sport a 24-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuloso-Midway for a 4A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Calallen will battle a Warriors/Cherokees team coming off a 56-25 league win over Robstown (Robstown, TX). The Warriors/Cherokees record now stands at 9-9.
The Coyotes (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop (Bishop, TX). The Badgers come into the 4A Region IV District 31 battle with a 24-4 record.
