The Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), 33-32 in Friday's league test.
The Bucks (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Tornillo (Tornillo, TX). The Coyotes go into the 3A Region I District 4 test with a 10-16 record.
The Buffaloes now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Presidio for a 3A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 31. Stanton will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 31-27 league loss to Crane (Crane, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-10.
