The Alpine Bucks basketball team (Alpine, TX), was overwhelmed 60-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX)
The Buffaloes now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Presidio for a 3A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, January 6. Stanton will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 54-21 league loss to Crane (Crane, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-5.
The Bucks (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Tornillo (Tornillo, TX). The Coyotes come into the 3A Region I District 4 battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Tornillo was overwhelmed by Kermit (Kermit, TX), 39-35, in a league battle.
