The Woodville Panthers (Woodville, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Athens Bible Trojans (Athens, AL), 47-34 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs go into the 1A Area 15 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Oakwood Academy went down by Valley Head (Valley Head, AL), 57-26, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Crossville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.
