The Woodville Panthers (Woodville, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Athens Bible Trojans (Athens, AL), 57-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Appalachian was trounced by Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL), 52-35, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Head for a 1A Area 15 test on Friday, December 9. Athens Bible will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 70-57 non-league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
