The Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 67-48 in Friday's league test.
The Royals (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish go into the A D1 Region 2 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Dublin went down by Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 55-39, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Burke County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Jefferson County will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 52-51 league loss to New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Bears record now stands at 7-10.
