The Central Aroostook Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Madawaska Owls to 30 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houlton for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Central Aroostook will meet a Shiretowners team coming off a 65-25 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Shiretowners record now stands at 3-4.

The Owls (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record.
