The Midway Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs to 46 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 20-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Midway will battle a Vikings team coming off a 55-51 league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 17-8.

The Bulldawgs (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos come into the 6A Region II District 12 contest with a 11-21 record. In their last contest, Hutto prevailed over Temple (Temple, TX), 64-23, in a league contest.
