The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs basketball team (Copperas Cove, TX), was nudged 46-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Midway Panthers (Waco, TX)

The Panthers now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan for a 6A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, January 6. Midway will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-44 league win over Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.

The Bulldawgs (7-15) will now prepare for their battle against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos come into the 6A Region II District 12 battle with a 9-17 record. In their last battle, Hutto edged Temple (Temple, TX), 42-25, in a league battle.
