The Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) basketball knocked off the host Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), 33-18 in Friday's league test.
The Longhorns (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Grady (Lenorah, TX). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region I District 8 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Grady went down by Klondike (Lamesa, TX), 42-26, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Klondike for a 1A Region I District 8 test on Friday, February 3.
