The Glenn Grizzlies basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Leander Lions to 21 in the Grizzlies league victory on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 24-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Park for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Glenn will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 52-33 league loss to Hays (Buda, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 14-15.
The Lions (7-24) will now prepare for their contest against Lehman (Kyle, TX). The Lobos come into the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 2-22 record. In their last contest, Lehman was routed by Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX), 68-19, in a league contest.
