L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI), 31-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, L'Anse Creuse North upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Crusaders host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Utica Eisenhower won 73-36 in their recent league bout against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)

Next up, the Big Reds play the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red bout, on Monday, January 30. Port Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 84-60 league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI).
